Prayers for Kanye West during a very troubling time. Sources say Kanye West’s doctor reported the Grammy Award winning artist to the police last night, and he warned authorities that Kanye could possibly become violent.  He even mentioned a “temporary psychosis.”

TMZ stated:

Kanye West’s personal physician is the one who called 911, warning the dispatcher Kanye was not violent but would become violent when police arrived to help him.

Law enforcement sources tells us, the call came in as a male with mental illness. Dr. Michael Farzam said his patient’s name was “Jim Jones, 39 years old, 5’8”, 175 lbs … suffers from temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.”

The report goes on to say Dr. Farzam told police Kanye had attempted to assault a staff member at the gym.

Yesterday afternoon, Kanye made his way over to his personal trainer’s home in west L.A. where he was reportedly displaying erratic behavior.   The authorities were notified of Yeezy’s behavior, and according to TMZ, the 9-1-1 call directed to the Los Angeles Fire Department, confirms it was a mental health situation.

The dispatcher labeled the incident as a “psychiatric emergency.”  When help arrived, Kanye was reportedly restrained to a gurney and he was transported to UCLA medical center in Westwood.

Harley Pasternak, Kanye’s trainer, had very little to say after the incident:

Kim Kardashian West had just arrived in New York upon learning of his hospitalization to attend the first event dedicated to the legacy of the late Robert Kardashian, Sr.  She had the plane turn right around so she could return to L.A. to be by her husband’s side as Kris, Kourtney and Khloe stayed to attend Denise Rich’s Angel Ball .
